Arizona HS boys basketball top performances for Jan.31-Feb. 5

Caleb Shaw, Chandler Valley Christian, Sr.

The 6-foot-5 guard had 38 of his 53 points in the first half of a win over Mesa Eastmark. He set a single-game school record for scoring.

Donovan Beard, Mesa Dobson, So.

The 6-foot guards scored 34 points, including a 3-point basket at the buzzer to beat Mesa Mountain View 56-56. He had 15 points in the final quarter.

Styles Phipps, Phoenix St. Mary's, So.

The point guard set a single-game school record with 19 assists to go with 20 points in a rout of Tempe.

Cohen Aldridge, Waddell Canyon View, Jr.

He had 27 points and five steals in a 72-53 win over Buckeye Verrado as Canyon View tried to secure a playoff spot.

A.J. Riggs, Gilbert Highland, Sr.

He had 24 points in a win over Phoenix Desert Vista.

Mason Knollmiller, Highland, Sr.

He had 19 points against Desert Vista and 16 points in a win over Mesa Desert Ridge.

Cody Williams, Gilbert Perry, Jr.

The 6-8 wing had 15 points and five rebounds in a 41-39 win over Chandler Hamilton.

Koa Peat, Perry, Fr.

He had 12 points and a single-game school-record seven blocks in the two-point win over Hamilton.

Tanti Felli, Phoenix Country Day, Sr.

He averaged 23.7 points in a 3-0 week.

Arman Madi, Phoenix Brophy Prep, Jr.

The 6-6 wing averaged 17 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists. He had 21 points and eight rebounds in a win over Perry and 22 points in a rout of Pinnacle.

Mark Clegg, Coolidge, Sr.

He made three baskets in overtime to help the Bears beat Thatcher 61-57. He finished with 13 points, 11 rebounds and six assists.

Brad Curtis, Thatcher, Sr.

He sent the Coolidge game into OT with a basket at the buzzer. He had 38 points and scored 21 of the Eagles' 24 first-half points.

Peyton Smith, Yuma Gila Ridge, Sr.

He scored at the buzzer to give his team a 58-56 win over Glendale Raymond S Kellis. He finished with 19 points. He had 29 points against Yuma.

Easton Reagan, Scottsdale Desert Mountain, Sr.

He averaged 18 points and nine rebounds.

Pike Tancil, Surprise Willow Canyon, Sr.

He averaged 17 points, 8.5 assists in two region wins as team improve to 19-5.

David Bright, Willow Canyon, Sr.

He averaged 18.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in two wins.

Ian Townsend, Phoenix Veritas Prep, Jr.

He had 29 points, making six 3-pointers, in a 68-52 win over Avondale St. John Paul II.

Quinn Thorne, Tempe Corona del Sol, Sr.

The son of Arizona State women's basketball coach Charli Turner Thorne averaged 19 points in three games.

Andrew Camacho, Peoria, Jr.

The point guard, in two wins, averaged 30 points, three rebounds, seven assists and 2.5 steals.
